Frau Cho in Detmold

By far the best Korean restaurant I've been to in Germany. Korean barbecue itself should be experienced and the food here is simply very good and regional and yet authentic. The side dishes are great. Especially the homemade kimchi!

Very friendly and authentic staff. High quality meat and reasonable prices for it. The side dishes, which can be submitted as often as required, are also very tasty. Definitely recommended for every meat eater and friend of Asian cuisine!

I already enjoyed a few Korean barbecues in Seoul and area and I can tell you this place in Detmold is pretty authentic and serves great Korean cuisine. Also not too expensive and with friendly staff. Can totally recommend!

The food is a little more expensive, but good. Not great for the price, but delicious. Side dishes, rice and salad could be reordered however you wanted. Very good. The staff was friendly and afterwards there was even a shot of soju on the house! Thank you so much! ?

We were here for the first time and will definitely be back. The service is super nice and very attentive, you get a clear explanation of what the individual side dishes are made of. The ingredients of the dishes are really good quality. It is also fun to prepare your own food at the table. In Lippe, the shop is already a gastronomic highlight, I would say.

Great Korean barbecue!

We were welcomed in a super friendly way and we were immediately given a place for 2 people. Everything was explained to us as a beginner. Great !!! Grilling at the table is really an adventure, a great idea. The prices are moderately reasonable. I would recommend this location to everyone. Finally something other than "fried rice with sweet and sour duck" ??????

Rarely eaten so well. The meat was marinated so deliciously and was also so tender. The homemade lemonade and the motchikugel were also excellent. We would love to come back.

Korean BBQ

We are excited about the Korean cuisine. The food is exotic, authentic and delicious! The shared barbecue at the table and the many little things are great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you! We will be back.

My wife and I are living in Taipei and go to Korean BBQ quite regularly there. When we went to Frau Cho my wife directly fell in love with their food and I absolutely agree. Make sure to try their marinated pork. It's one of the best we ever had ?

With "Ms. Cho" the service is top, very friendly and accommodating, attentive and not pushy. The small side dishes you can refill any number of times, so we got new rice, more salad leaves, more kimchi and more sauce. Everything tasted great, the kimchi was exquisite, adapted to the European palate and therefore not very spicy. The meat, we had # 3 and 4, was fresh, looked very good. The marinade of 3 was delicious, both were good roast. The table grill was fun, so preparing his food is always a great experience! The leftover Kimchi we were allowed to take home and we got a Korean drink on the house, which was delicious. We would like to come again!

Delicious food at unbeatable prices. Service is still very important here. The second stay was even better than the first. Also with 6 hungry persons "Mrs. Cho" was finished. Apparently, the smaller side dishes change from time to time, which I think is great. The team is still working on a typical Korean dessert. I'm curious. :) I will definitely recommend it.
